Thinking is low-key overrated. Some of the best moments in life are had when you're not thinking, and instead simply being. It's easier said than done. If you're the kind of person with a loud inner monologue, then you probably wish you could turn it off like a light switch, but you can't. But then you look back on the fun times in your life, and what you remember is not your inner monologue, but the memory itself. Like that time you went down the waterslide at your neighborhood's block party when you were 10. 

Or that time you watched the sunrise with your college friends on the night before graduation. Or when you danced with your lover at your wedding. You weren't thinking, you were just there. But sometimes we need to step out of the now to reflect, or ponder, if you will.
